Macrocosmica - Farewell To Earth

Macrocosmica - Farewell To Earth

BIG SLABS OF ROCK! Thats what i get from a Macrocosmica live show, and this lovely brand new little disc has much more of that than the previous album. The delay in getting the full package ready has definately proved worthwhile to this listener.

Quite a bit of the lighter more indie influenced passages of the old style have made way for bigger riffs, more solos and a wider range of vocals curtousy of Gordon Brady, bringing them much more inline with being a stoner band! Complimented by nice bass heavy sound and a great spaced out sections all over the place.

Fans of big fuzzed up 70's rock would do well to check this album out, and also when they play live where they show off their wares best!

Thanks Gav!
Just to let our Dundonian friends know that copies of the album are now in Grouchos, priced 8 quid. Launch gig in the 13th Note, Glasgow, tonight (Sat 4th June) incase you're in the west.
