Thanks for at least taking the time to give it a single spin Steve.
And I understand most of what your saying, certain quibbles aside. We're not petty, arrogant, or delusional (or hard) enough to want to attack you with bits of wood, or anything else for that matter, though so I shouldn't worry. |

I never review anything after one spin, aside from the stuff malcom sends me fore jokes for collective-zine.co.uk
this sat on my pc in work for the tail end of last week and recieved a few spins in the flat, my opinion is always well formed and never just based on first impressions. |

That review is quite derrogatory. Fair enough you don't like it but is there any need for the myspace comments etc. Got no beef, just think it's out to offend. Also just because scotland already has, as you say 2 good metalcore bands surely doesn't mean that you shouldn't give it a shot. What do i know though, im from fife!

its a well based review as someone who as extensive knowledge of the scene which they are part of.
if you think the review is overly harsh then take it up with KJ and ask him to include a a disclaimer stating there should be no negative reviews. |

I havenae heard the record so i cannot comment on the music, but it does seem to be a well-balanced account. Paco knows what he's talking about and as for the review being harsh, if ye put the music out there ye have to expect some negative responses. Other people will be hearing the music, not just yer pals who come out to your shows.

Guys lets not try and gives Steve shit aye? He has done a good honest review which is exactly what I expected/wanted when I handed our cd to his drunken self not 2 weeks ago. At the end of the day it’s his opinion and you may not agree with it but you can respect it. We do appreciate the support don’t get me wrong but lets employ a bit of tact when posting eh?

Think its the fact Steve commented on our association with the Ghostfest in a bad way, then went on to describe a band playing the Ghostfest '06 as one of the best in Scotland in this genre of music. At least I can only imagine thats Robbie's point.
Anyways, cheers for the honest review. |

Azriel and Broken Oath are both playing ghostfest along with stamping ground and a slew of others... perhaps I should have clarifed the two aspects of Ghostfest (that being the main bands playing on one stage and all the new bands playing the other stage.)
anyways, it's all good, see you at the bar. |
