For Your Sins - Solace (FRA005)

For Your Sins debut release sees the band progressing quickly from the ashes of former bands Acer and Echoes.

Lead track 'Solace' shows some melodic flair beneth the thrash riffs and beatdowns, while 'Bring It Down' goes right through to the jugular with muscular riffage and tight time changes.

It's obvious the band are all accoumplished players but its also obvious they are still a young band with a lot to learn. Recient live shows have seen the band debut a set of new tracks a million miles away from these recordings, so the promise is there.

Overall the production lacks a real bite due to tinny guitars and unsubstancial drum sounds.
