Ok, so last night was ace, i got a slit T- shirt (being sold at a tenner) for seven quid because i was skint, well chuffed

! But, moving on- the gig featured four good bands, but for me hellbound were the best that i actually got to see. i dont know if it was their bassists awesome stage presence, or their drummers tight as fuck thunderous mic`d up blasts and flams, their two guitarists military style precision pinched harmonics or their lead vocalists bellowed gritty snarls. But, for me personally being a huge fan of the Pantera/ Superjoint Ritual-esque style, after a few Jack Daniels and Coke and a few vodka and red bull`s mixed with some prety decent weed, Hellbound sounded like the best thing i could have hoped for at the time, due somewhat also to Stu`s superb sound engineering skills (the guys knows how metal should be mixed). The band rattled through their set fast as fuck, only stopping for about 20 seconds in between each song, so you could tell they were on a roll. HSITW sounded in a word, Devastating, with stomp riffs left right and center. Swamp Blues could only be described as groovy as hell, with blatant raw Down influence, whereas impaled to the grave and such, brought faster tempos and more furious playing with them, which is always a good thing. this is the kind of band to look for in the future because, having heard them jamming at riptide alot, i know for a fact they are all ,without a doubt, excellent musicians, but place them in a gig atmosphere like last nights.... and absolute carnage insues, Jesus Chirst- what a moshpit!! I severley injured my thumb a few weeks ago and got the stitches out a while ago, but i think ive re-injured it last night... but fuck it! it was worth it, The wall of death was ace, and it put Man Must Die`s to shame as it was easily twice the size, and i wish i had a camera because it looked awesome from where i was standing as the divider. At this point lead vocalist Sean Nunes had the crowd in the grasp of his sweaty hands, keeping them from running at each other before the song had completley kicked in and took off. There was a few dangers present though, as there was a few Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge fuckers in the pit, im talking unreal size here, as in Rambo plus Rocky with Arnie`s character in Predator thrown in for good measure.... Well, that may be a little bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea. But anyway, to round this off quickly, GO SEE HELLBOUND !!!!!... well that is if you want to hear the best mix of Pantera, Down, Superjoint Ritual, Sepultura, Megadeth and good old Corpse Scotland has to offer.........
