Audio Bullys - Generation

I've been listening to so much electronic recently it's unreal. The latest album i've got my mitts on is the Audio Bullys joint, Generation... and it's fucking outstanding in my humble opinion. It's got some great variety in tracks and there are some real stand out tracks that I'm going to have on repeat for a long time. Probably the most popular of their tracks is Shot You Down, which featured in the hit movie Kill Bill... but that isn't the only memorable track on the album. I'm really enjoying work like Keep On Moving and Generation. Generation is possibly my favourite track on the album followed closely by I Won't Let You Down. Those two are pretty heavy bass wise and probably not the most chilled on the album. If you are looking for a few chilled out tracks then I reckon you'd enjoy Keep On Moving, Made Like That (feat. Roots Manuva) and I'm In Love.

There are a couple of obscure tracks on this too, like Eq-ing, which sound like a mish-mash of beats, vocals and random sound effects. Ok, maybe not random sound effects, but it sounds like it... why?. 'Stop what you're doing, you need Eq-ing' probably answers that question. All Sing Along is pretty fast paced compaired to the other tracks.

I've just got myself a set of Sennheiser cans and really I couldn't have asked for a better album to test them out with. I don't know to what extent you can call the Audio Bullys mainstream but the album is immaculately produced with ultra clear beats and vocals. It's got variety, phat beats, decent vocals and in general is pretty much a feel good album.
