Ok first of all, i think that somethin definitely has to be done about teaching sex education to kids. I think it's terrible that there's like 13 years old running about shagging anything that breathes. But then in saying that, i guess they're gonna do it anyway if they want to, even if they've been greatly informed of the risks and stuff. But i reckon schools need to get their asses in gear as far as sex ed goes but i also think parents should teach their kids stuff too, even if it does make them feel uncomfortable or whatever. I mostly learned stuff from my friends to be honest, and from magazines. And as far as my first time goes, it was shit. I've yet to meet someone who says their first time was actually good. First time for me lasted all of about three minutes and was painful as fuck. But i guess u gotta cross that barrier so u can have good sex after that

It's a difficult one! Your damned if you do and damned if you dont with the whole sexual health education thang. Speaking as a health care professional, i think a multi-agency approach is needed.
GPs, schools , community nursing staff and particularly parents all have to contribute to improving childrens sexual and relationship knowledge. Not just the risks, but also the importance of family groups, supportive enviroments and alterative lifestyles. |

One thing to remember about age of teaching sex to kids is that, what is suspected to be caused by hormones in food, some girls are having periods at the age of 10. Thats scary that biologically girls of 10 are capable of having children

I worked in a school with children aged between 5 - 12 and believe me they all know about sex and all sorts about the age of 10! I know some children in primary 7 that are sexually active and on the pill so they dont get pregnant however they still dont think about std's once they have something to stop them becoming pregnant. Sex education/drug abuse/drinking...etc is introduced in p6/7 and i still dont think they give enough nitty gritty information, children need to be shocked to learn. In my training i met two people who had Aids from the foundation Body Positive and that was enough for me to learn about safe sex. I think that this is what should happen in schools, we should learn from other people's mistakes.

This is a subject I really dont have a perfect answer to...in fact I dont think there is one. What exactly do we teach the kids at school about sex? I remember being taught solely about the process of pregnancy and genital parts in primary school and only once we were in high school do we get taught about everything else and by that time it was too late as some kids at school were already fucking each other. A solution is something that will be hard to find.

Exterminate neds and kill all their ned whore children at birth, problem solved! I wish I could drop a small tactical nuclear warhead on kirkton and be done with it.
It would solve all the worlds problems, well enough of them to be worth it ![]() |

Perhaps we should drop a nuclear warhead in the morning, and then drop another one a few hours later when all the other neds we didn't get the first time go back home to investigate. Of course that doesn't solve the problem of Lochee, the ardler multies, or any of the other ned stronghold... Perhaps we should solve the problem at the source by making all sign on dates coincide, then barricading them in the job center and setting it on fire. or by making a genetically engineered virus that targets the gene that causes a love of burberry... |
