Should a first division club that comes fitrst or second be allowed promotion even if their stadium doesn't meet the strict seating standards?

yes, scottish football is poor enuff as it is we dont need to make clubs lose more money by building useless stadiums. Its stupid and elitist, and was probbaly developed by poeple who dont care about the game and just want to rake in the cash.

well as u said the rules are strict. but i also do feel that clubs should b allowed into the SPL. i think that the SPL or the old firm clubs should help the smaller clubs to finance the teams who need stadium development. but me being english in all i dont take an awfull lot of intrest in scottish foorball apart from when the old firm r trying to worm thereselves into the english league.

i think it's in the interest of the rest of the clubs in the spl that they can get a decent gate from each game they play, considering the financial problems even the old firm are having...while somebody like falkirk may feel a bit cheated, i still think it's helping out poor wee bastards like motherwell who REALLY need the money.

The only issue about for the size of the stadium is cuz of the old firm away support,i mean look at some of the televised spl games that dont include celtic or the scum, lucky if theres 5000 supporters between both teams,so yeah i think 1st division teams should get promotion, but they might have to install more seatin cuz who wants to stand in terraces
