How are they expected to see a fair trial? There is no way anything is going to happen now, its not possibile. His career is in ruins, the tabloids are completely unreliable and she is trying to sell a book, what does that tell you about her thinking? she was allegedly raped more than a decade ago, yet decides to tell all in a book. She never named the person. Why though? Why would someone talk about a rape and not name the culprit and let them get off completely free? Is rape not a matter for the police? She never took it to the police.
If she was raped, then JL deserves what he gets, but its not been proven and its not even been through the courts. Are we to just assume he is guilty and destroy is life and his family life over pure speculation?

How do we know? Lot of contrasting factors. A hostile, predudice police and judicial system Vs. a liberal press and a potetially volitile ethnic underclass.

Remember Rodney King? The incarceration of a black man could mean a thousand riots and bloodshed. On the other hand to let him go free could mean making a mockery of the American heirarchy. It wasn't about the Juice it was about the American Salad Bowl and how it just doesnt work.

Schism is a terrible thing. Particuarly when it is as fragmented as American society.
