We were just discussing this in work the other day, are you born gay, or is it down to how you're brought up ?

Nature, I reckon. But I'm sure there's evidence for both arguements.

I think people must be born gay. I dont think people can be conditioned into finding a particular group of people as attractive.
I know this sounds really ignorant (but trust me it's not!) but i think homosexuality is a condition that people are born with in the same way that people are born with athsma etc. I wouldn't wish it on anyone as it must cause them a great deal of anguish.

im not sure, i suppose you'd have to be gay yourself to really know, id go with nature i think. maybe something to do with genetics maybe

the genetics thing would be kinda strange cos if your dad and grandad etc. were gay...

I think it's both personally. I don't think it's as simple as a lot of people make out.

I'd say some people are born gay, and others probably become gay through conditioning. Then there are people who pretend to be gay because they're attention whores, although I've found these people generally tend to be bi, rather than gay. They usually also claim to be pagan for some reason.

Its a pure fucker that a small minority spoil it for such a dedicated and hardworking group of people!

i have a feeling this was discussed on friday night, but yeah i agree that it is probably a bit of both...the nature/nurture thing
