Iraq = Nam
I was trying to draw comparisons between the Vietnam conflict with the current war in Iraq.
This is what I've come up with so far: The Coalition moving in without any good reason The Coalition then letting themselves get drawn into a longterm conflict Replace "The threat of communism" with "the threat of terror" Britain was to Iraq as France was to Vietnam I'm sure there must be loads more, but with such a limited knowledge of both conflicts, I was hoping for some help. any thoughts? |

This is a really ground-breaking idea!
Vietnam is a country. Iraq is a country. Also, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnam_war http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...ietnam+vs+iraq Last edited by Jeebus : 22nd September 2004 at 11:18 AM. |
