its not often that i have paid attention to anything he has said but he seems to be talking a lot of sense about the various conflicts around the world...

Seems to have a very calm, well thought approach to things... take the following quote about press coverage of hostage takings...

I believe this to be totally true. Its a propaganda machine and the terrorists know exactly what they are doing. Look how much coverage they have gotten recently with Ken Bigley's kidnapping. I think it should be kept out of the spot light, or at least prevented from dominating domestic news as much as it is doing.

Interesting and even more so when you realise Jordans position both geographically (right next to Israel) and politically (becoming moderate, still has hereditary monarch but elections last year)
