The issue doesn't seem to go away. As soon as you think it has, Blunkett changes his mind. Now he's decided not to combine it with passports and driving licences. Surely that was the one good thing about ID cards, no?

Count down until some mong uses the "U DONT WANT ID CARDS U MUST HAVE SOMETHING 2 HIDE LOL LOL LOL IF U DISAGREE WIF ME U MUST BE TERRIRIST LOL" argument.

Additional countdown, until some hilariously funny guy or gal makes a post consisting of that word for word. Whoever it ends up being, you're such a card.
