Do you all really care?
This is not meant sracastically, so please just answer honestly... Does anyone who posts on this site actually care who wins the American Presidential Election? I know that we Americans tend to overestimate our importance to the rest of the world, so I'm just curious if you all truly think it makes one bit of difference in your lives who wins the election? And if so , why?

I do care, because I wouldn't put it past Bush to use nuclear weapons, or to otherwise trigger a nuclear war. I'd rather not get third degree burns/radiation sickness/melted eyeballs/blast wave to the face, thanks.
There's enough chance of a nuclear war happening by accident, let's not have someone adding to the chances of one happening any other way. |

truth be told....i ain't that bothered. I mean george had 4 years in power and the world is still standing so as far as im concerned...it's all good.
My one thing is though, it seems to be a "cool" trend as in not to like george bush. What the fuck is with that? Nearly every muscian or band you read about in metal hammer or ker-pap has something bad to say about him. |

It definitely does affect the whole world as the U.S.A is obviously a huge power in the global scheme of things.
I can't find the link just now but I remember reading a very good article on Kerry and whether it'd be just as bad or even worse if he was elected and how he was basically being seen as a good candidate for the sole reason that he 'wasn't Bush'. Only time will tell whether the country made the right choice I guess. |

because its something we should care about. not just because it affects us ( which it really does, alot. ) But because it affects americans, who are fellow citizens on this crazy world we live on. ![]() |
