US Voting System

Why the fuck can't they cope with all the people voting? 2 hour queues etc. Surely it should be "possible" for nearly twice as many people to vote as yesterday?

And that electoral college thing sucks bigtime.

I found it more interesting that the Jimmy Carter Foundation couldnt monitor the election for fraud as it doesnt meet the "minimum standards of a third world democracy"

i saw interviews with guys who had to wait 7 hours. one guy said "it was great, i had a chair and my friends so i had a good time"... waiting 7 hours in the cold to vote

yeah, you do know that voting was only up by 10% from last year, i know thats still a lot of people but i mean...come on surely they should be prepared for a 60% turnout?

there were less voting machines in the poorer areas where there was a higher turnout from what I saw causing not only delays but delays in mainly Democrat areas...

Also voting was up 10% and the number of new voters rose from 9% last time to 11% this time, which isnt just a small jump in % its a huge jump due ot the overall voting figure.

uh......im joining te debate rather late in the game, but it really DOESNT MATTER WHO WINS. John Kerry is no further left wing than my right foot! When it comes down to it they're all american, they're all politicians and they belong to the elite fascist society of capitalist swine. fuck waiting any time to vote either of them in.
