i'm really undecided on what could happen. it could either encourage people towards peace or make things worse. they've increased security in jewish settlements in the west bank though.

Im not sure I think it'll have much impact. Due to Arafat's ill-health, I don't think he's actually had much of a role in the last while.

i'd say it was bad for the peace process but the middle east is so unstable just now anything can happen

Anyway, theres no such thing. The 'peace process', gimme a break. You'll never change the attitudes of the people in the middle east. It's like tellin the pope to stop bein a catholic. Not gonna happen.
