im impressed that they were dealt with that quietly and efficiently.

nice bit of good press for the government releasing the info at this time as well, in trying to back up the stricter anti-terrorist laws

Bullshit. Scare-tactic crap. never happened. There is not a global terrorist network threatening us. Its fantasy.

Look at anthrax. Nothing ever happened. Also, what about 'dirty bombs'? it turned out the radioactive stuff would be so diluted that it wouldnt harm anyone, even if they were at the scene. And remember the army at Gatwick??? Nothing happened!!!!

i can totally understand that viewpoint, and they are valid examples that you raised, and i will admit to having a few misgivings at the timing of the release of this info with Blunkett's increased anti terrorist laws being enforced buuuuuuuutttt...im glad that *if these threats were real* they were dealt with so that you can make your claim.

although i thought that anthrax was actually a real problem? ditto with gatwick? i could well be wrong though!

it's "great" how the media/government have us more scared than any terrorist could ever dream of. it'll "hopefully" reach a point where security will be so tight that it completely interferes with our normal way of life.
It'll certainly save those nice terrorist men a lot of effort.
