Yeah, I'm totally going to do this, because if loads of people in the UK do nothing for a day, the US will be totally like, "hey guys, loads of people on the UK did fuck all today, looks like the jig is up, we'd better put Kerry in the whitehouse, before they all pick a day to shake their fists angrily! Oh noes!!"

I think perhaps he thinks this is a US site in a drive by spam after searching google for politics boards?

I thought that too. Thing is though, even if a bunch of people in the US do this, it's still not going to have the desired effect.
