When someone like David Icke, who believes that the world is being controlled by interdimensional lizards, also believes in this illuminati shit, I have a hard time believing it. Or is David Icke just a part of the consipracy to discredit the illuminati? :tinfoil:
I have no doubt that there is more going on behind the scenes in power, than we are allowed to know, but I think this illuminati thing is just people who put their tinfoil hat on a bit too tight. |

Check Wikipedias entry to the Freemasons, seems pretty balanced and well rounded.
I think the freemasons et probably hold a fair amount of sway over various societal factors through influence peddling and the like, but I wouldn't get too conspirtorial about it. I mean, ultimately, if you look for a pattern long enough, you'll see it, ken? |

my grandad was a mason. can't remember him mentioning ruling the world or anything. didn't have much money either.
they did have a hall that had a cheap bar, so all the family round there used it for wedding receptions and parties and such. they came to his funeral and each did this wee ritual thing at his grave, sweat of my brow blah blah blah and put something in the grave, a leaf or twig or something, can't really remember. |
