I think babyshambles are shit, but its totally unfair to use someones addiction as a media circus. If i was an addict and woke up every morning to read a bunch of nonsense about myself, i'd be reaching for the spoon straight away. Everyone makes stupid mistakes, its pretty ignorant to demonise them for it. Everyone knows what happens to you if you take smack, yet loads of people make the concious decision to do so anyway. Surely that points to larger societal problems that can't be solved by locking someone up for getting caught. Some people like to live in a bubble and point their fingers, other people have empty lives and are offered nothing by society so they like to take drugs. Hate the problem, not the individual it affects far worse than yourself.

In my opinion, junkies have only themselves to blame they got into drugs. Fed up of bleeding hearts saying they have had tough lifes, lots of people have tough lifes and don't take smack. People who need a crutch to get through life are weak people and weak people needed weeded out. Fuck having my house ransacked by some junkie cause they have had a tough life. I work hard for my belongings on mininum wage. Send them to prison or just leave them to overdose and die. Rant over.

I'm probably very slightly left-wing, but one of the wouldn't count myself as left wing, is that the majority of the left-wing types I meet, wouldn't agree with this statement.

Having had a difficult life does NOT make it acceptable to steal from someone in order to subsidise your self-inflicted drug habit. Anyone that claims not to know how addictive heroin is, is talking out of their arse, just like people that claim that kids don't know that having sex gets you pregant. They know, they just do it anyway, because they don't care about the consequences.

I remember someone saying on here before, that it's perfectly OK for someone to have just burglarised your house, because they had a difficult life, and they're on smack. Get tae fuck.

He was arrested again yesterday with 2 lads from Dundee driving around in a stolen motor with class A's.

I dunno what he's playing at but this could be the final straw.

That reminds me of something I read in The Courier. It was the bit that states what types of things people were coming up on in the courts and thier fine or whatever.

2 seperate people, 2 seperate instancies of guys holding cocaine in Fat Sams. Each fined £100.

A guy with a similar amount of dope in his home? £200. I read that and went "what the fuck!? That guy is in his HOME! The Fat Sams blokes were in public, whats going on!"

I wonder if the 2 dundonians will get a more severe punishment than Pete?Will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I also know of a guy caught with 3 grams of Coke in the fatties tiolets however he has now been let off without even appearing in the Court etc.
