this is actually true, my friend told me last night he saw something in the paper bout the beano adding a new comic strip called "the neds" which basically involved them discussing burberry caps and stuff. I just checked it out on the net and it is actually true.

they don't want kids to identify being a ned with being of lower social status.

Not sure what I think. If it portrays them as eejits, I'm fine with it.
