ok, first this might be in wrong place, if so im sorry but was wanting serious replies. sorry to whoever has to move it if they do.

now,i need help, i have totaly no idea on these problems and hopefuly someone will.

ok as some of you may of read ages ago, iam planning to go to australia to pretty much just travel sometime this year or early next. (saveing issues)

now, i know countrys dont just let you in. what do i need? what do i need todo? who do i need to speak to?

im going till pretty much i find a way back. so looking at over a year i guess. but to tell you the truth if i was allowed to stay there i prob would.

i am traveling with 2 other people, one in same situation as me and one who is from australia who moved here at age of 12 or summit, if that makes any diffrence.

i have never travelled or orginised travelling on my own.

if any more info is needed please ask and i will reward helper with rep and a pint if they live locally

You can apply for a 'working holiday visa' which allows you to stay for up to 12 months.

To be eligible for an Australian Working Holiday Visa, the application must be made overseas and applicants must:

Be aged between 18 and 30 years (inclusive) of age without dependent children;
Be eligible passport holders with at least 1 year until renewal on their passport;
Be going to Australia on holidays; and
Be able to show sufficient funds for a return or onward fare and an adequate amount of funds for the first part of their stay.

I have a friend who is going to work there for a year in September. I can remember-

You can only stay in the same place for 3 months maximum (not too sure on this, but I'm pretty certain about it)
You must have at least £2000 in an accessible bank-account.

I'll try and get some other info for you.

yeh its 3 months, goes to 6 months on july the 1st tho, so thats cool. prob wont be anywere that long anyway.

At least it gave me something to do for 5 minutes.
I recommend adding the beer money to your Australia fund.

just look out for the red back spiders ,funnel web spiders , taipan and red belly belly black snakes oh and the box jelly fish , great white sharks ,blue ring octopus ,stone fish .and koala bears that are high on crack that drop from trees as you walk by .Come to Australia get bitten and die

a friend of mine is moving there in a years time apparently to travel the country. Is it true that people run crocodile farms there? he says that is the business he is going into. i'd love to go to that part of the world. It's on my list along with Japan, China, New Zealand and Goa.
