Repeatedly the 'god' crowd have failed to come up with anything convincing.

Funny, I don't recall the doctrines of the christian religion saying "you get to live on earth forever if you're a christian".

It's not quite the same argument, but I would argue that the "if god exists then why does he let serial killers kill people" argument is just as ignorant as "if evolution is real, then why have we never seen a monkey give birth to a human being". It's a total strawman argument, and based on complete ignorance of the claims that the opposing side of the argument are trying to make.

Ah, but the 'Christian' will claim that it was 'god's will and that we shouldn't question 'his' reasoning (a similar claim was made when those catholics bought the farm coming back from a shrine in a coach which had been blessed by a priest).

BTW, I would never use the "if god exists then why does he let serial killers kill people" argument as I feel there are far more logical and less, well, stupid ones to use.

Nevertheless, the bible does not claim that christians get a free pass from dying (in this world), so the fact that these christians died, or that they died in a church has no bearing on whether or not the claims of the christian religion are true.
