Thats very true, i went for lunch with my ex gf from school. She got poor grades compared to me and got into university only after attending the ASPIRE course. in the end she graduated the same time as me with the same 2:1 honours. Many of the people at our schools who got top grades dropped out of uni which we both ound suprising.
Needless to say she was dead chuffed about it especially after her guidence teacher had advised her to try a career like hairdressing or spend a few years at college.

I believe this is all part of the 'Guaranteed Job Interview' scheme, which REALLY pisses me off, as it means that all disabled people are guaranteed to be selected for the interview process, whereas people like me don't due to a lack of experience in the relevant areas.
the council? shouldn't they just have a first tick box of:

"my mum/dad/brother/sister/best mate/aunt/uncle already work for the council and you've to give me a job"

As an employer I have found that the cards are most definitely stacked to the advantage of the employee.

Kenny..?
Because they'll want to make sure they're reaching all sections of society - like, are some 'groups' giving more than others, and if so, why and how can it be fixed.
