Can i employ you this week to fill in all of the blanks that i leave out? im too tired due to uni. You got it completely right. Its the employers and the present governments fault that the wages are too low. However the government doesnt seem to be capable of policing all these dodgy employers who exploit the immigrants (or anybody else). They know they can get away with paying shit wages to these people because they have no choice. Going to the authorities to complain will only get them deported (or left conveniently beside a wide open gate with big, pointy, flashy arrows saying "UK THIS WAY ->")
Basically the immigrants are screwed. They couldnt pay taxes if they wanted to. The ones that are legally in the country are obviously more willing to put in the hard work than the lazy french people who seem to think that Paris is the promised land. I still think i should take over the world and create a utopian society where hard work stil has its rewards, but you arent completely screwed if you dont live in the right part of the planet or your parents are useless shitbags. i.e everyone starts of equal and the greedy ones get anal probes. |

Cunny, your peniltimate post is rubbish. People get the jobs because they are better qualified for it. If people were employing people because they were cheap labour, the company aint gonna get very far. Would you rather give a job to a fully qualified immigrant or a sub standard Frenchman who smells of garlic? (ok, that was just a cheap did, but its a point)
Rather than going to get educated, people take the easy way out and just look for discredit these people because they are from another country. Plus this is a perfect example of what happens when people cant be bothered to get off their asses and vote. The same thing is bound to happen here if things keep going as they have been. last year 52% of the Scottish population turned out to vote. 52% for crying out loud. Its a lesson to be learned

I wasnt talking about skilled labour, i more means stuff like working in sweat-shops, the back alley dodgy shops. I dont mean IT for fuck sake!! How is an illegal immigrant gonna get a job in highly skilled profession? no employer like that would take the risk. If the dude has fake ID like a lot do, then who knows. But Duuuuuh, of course employers for skilled jobs will take whoever is best.
The frogs are daft if they are pissed at the immigrant who are in skilled jobs, cos its not as if they will be able to make the same kind of money back in their own country. A good, well paid job is not a birth right and it must be earned. The sooner people realise this the better. Then they might quit moanin |

I didnt actually. They see lots of foreigners with jobs in their country, and they immediatly start to feel threatened. Doesnt matter what kind of job it is, its a job!!
Everybody is a little selfish and the extremists are just playing on their fears. The French are very protective of their country when they think they see people trying to take it away from beneath them. This is as it should be. Its just that their fears are being exploited and they are all being wound up. P.S. I aint making much sense today, i know what i mean, its just that nobody else does!! |

Looks like good defeated evil once again, although it was more of a case of blocking evil getting in, France is now left with a crook as president. Either way, a second chance for him anyday rather than the far right

Plus, Chirac now has a shit load to do, fix this and also the damaged reputation of France. But, its a clear sign that, although right wing politics remains, it will probably never gain authoratitive position in any developed country. However, look what is going on in Zimbabwe at the moment, almost a vision of what France could have been like have Le Pen gained victory.Did you see the news last night? one of the three Candidates from the BNP that one a seat was almost in tears because he was getting heckled by so many people, including press and his opponents, with almost everyone in their constituencies stating that they would refuse to work along side them. Rather than vote for someone as a demonstration, simle spoil your paper and vote for no one. At least that way you wont be giving your votes to someone who will cause more damage to the country.
