is the site forums slow or fast? looking into getting a dedicated server. Lots of £££ tho. just want to see if its worth it.

it's usually instantaneous but when there's lots of people online it get slow. It could just be when bittorrent actually works that it goes slow though.

Anyway, I recon at current expansion rates you'll need one by this time next year so you should probably start doing some fund-raisers and stuff.


Then if noone new joins you could pretend you got a dedicated server and spend all the money on your lass or something.

i voted slow, cos it is for me sometimes. sometimes i can't see what i'm typing for a while, i think thats just cos my computers getting old. then again, it only happens on ugs.

i'm on broadband (.5 Mb) and it's usually decent. it does suffer from lag when there are loads of users on and my posts freeze when i'm typing them, which is a nightmare.

but 90% of the time it's fine.
