IMPORTANT: UGS Content Contributors
After some deliberation i have decided not to bin the main undergroundscene.co.uk website.
The main site of undergroundscene.co.uk is 50% of the overall site. It is also the main contributor to the excellent search results that the web site has in the google rankings and so cannot be afforded to be neglected. My solution to create an active information site is to recruit volunteer content contributors to add content. By having a continuous flow of information to the site we can maintain the high ranking of the site in the major search engines. This will in turn have the benefit of attracting new users to the site, ideally users that have a genuine interest in the music scene and culture of underground music. Members of the contributor team will cover the majority of musical genres / areas to ensure that the site does not seem to take a biased interest in specific musical types. This would be bad in my opinion as we would eventually be seen to be ignoring various sections of the music community. I feel that this is already the case even though it is completely unintentional. I would be very appreciative if you guys could put forward some names of people on the site already that I could approach to see if they would like to be a content contributor. If you would like to be a volunteer and contribute please email me or add me to your msn shaolinart AT hotmail.com and explain why and what you would give to the site.

gig reviews
cd reviews film reviews gig photos art cultural events etc essays etc advice (gigging, techological, equipment etc) 'How To' guides if there is anything you hear of interest then put it on the site. anything really. if i can get 10 new articles at least every week on the site it'll be shaping up nicely. I've bought 12 new cds that i'll be reviewing.
