Thumbs up UGS articles system

ok people, i have now added a new facility to the site... the ability to add articles. I've modified the reviews and the features forum so that you can submit articles... you can upload images to illustrate your reviews and feature articles (100x100)... if you're writing a shit load of text you can split it into pages using the [BREAK] tag.

If you have any questions or issues using this new feature please let me know. This is another step to try and increase the flow of information into the site, please use it.

full explanatory post

Over the last day or two i've been adding a new feature to the site which allows ugs users the ability to post articles onto the site... it works almost identically to posting a new thread or post except the format and layout of the resulting submission is displayed differently and tends to give a more formal feel to the posts submitted in these forums...

Currently there are two areas available for posting articles; the Reviews forum and the Features forum.

In the reviews forum we welcome any submission relating to the arts. In the Features forum we welcome submissions on a full range of topics, so you are unrestricted in here. These could include reviews, general writings or interviews for example.

Members also have the ability to upload images to accompany their articles; useful if you want to illustrate your article in some way.

The ability to post articles has been opened up to all members on the site except for guests and annonymous users.

i hope you enjoy this new feature and find it of use in the future.

the UGS team

Very nicely done. I might do a review for the Make Poverty History gig on sunday. Although I'm gonna be drunk by the time I get there in the morning so I dunno how much I'll remember.
