3 Dec 2005 site updated
i began the process of upgrading the site in the early hours of this morning and this afternoon and i am pleased to announce all went well, and kinda smoothly.
Here is an update of what happened... Software updated Vbulletin Photopost Ads software Articles Links directory Software removed Journals Arcade Custom style sheets Ad-ons to come Journals Skype integration Custom Styles and some other secret bits The extra style sheets were removed but these will be added again in the near future. I removed them to make things easier during the upgrade process. The arcade and journals were removed because these are not yet available for the new major release version of the software but will become available in the near future. The articles and reviews section has been updated also but unfortunately all the thumbnail images for the articles have disappeared so i'll need to manually add these again this evening. I'll also need to fine tune the articles and reviews section as there are alot more features available to users now. New Gallery Settings for members Ok, i've updated the galleries for all users and increased space and file size allocation for all members of the site. Registered users (less than 500 posts): no gallery space Regular users (500+) posts: 5mb space / 80k file size limit UGS Street Team Coordinators: 20mb space / 80k file size limit Premium Member User Group: 10mb space / 80k file size limit Premium Plus Member User Group: 20mb space / 80k file size limit UGS Content Contributors: 20mb space / 100k file size limit UGS Photographers: 20mb space / 100k file size limit I hope you continue to enjoy using the site and look forward as much as i am to what the future holds for the site. Once again this was a necessary update to ensure the site stays secure and up-to-date with whats happening on the web. Good work! But i've got a quick question, when i go on the url: "http://www.undergroundscene.co.uk/upload/vbindex.php"
I get this page: "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /vbindex.php on line 229 Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/ug5v3/public_html/upload/vbindex.php on line 579" It confuses me greatly! However I got the UGS link through google and it seemed to work no bother? |

yeah we changed the portal to another one called vbadvanced and its much better than the one we had before plus everything works on it. Our listing on google will update the next time google sends its spiders our way

i've just added a links directory which is accessible from the top navigation bar. Please start adding links to this and lets build up a good resource.

yeah they'll be done tomorrow along with some forum updates. i've spent about 8 hours today working on the site, but i'll get the remainder of the updates done tomorrow. Sorry its taking so long.

yeah i should be lol. i'm gonna go read a book or watch some tv or something. everynow and then i get the UGS addiction biting at my ankles. Its fun most of the time.

I dont know if its my windows theme interfering but the table in "quick reply" under "Message:" is showing grey and doesnt look right.
Apart from that seems good. ps no plans for another shop? |
