How do i change my username?
In order to change your username you need to be a premium plus member before you can gain access to this option through the UGS points shop. User names will not be changed any other way. Please do not pm admins or moderators requesting a username change.

What do i need before i can change my custom user title?
You also need to be registered for at least 30 days on the forums

How do i change my custom user title?
You need to go to USER CP -> Edit Profile and scroll 2/3rds of the way down to the field that says Custom User Text. Enter your desired title into there

How long can my custom title be?
Your custom title can be no longer than 25 characters

How long can my signature be?
In order to give people the best viewing and reading experience on the forums, signatures should be no more than 7 lines in height. Please modify your signatures to fall in line. Signatures bigger than this shall be edited by an administrator.

It should also be noted that images and banners may not be used in signatures. This is in the best interest of maintaining a high level of usability throughout the site and reducing cluter and distracting graphics.

Signatures which do not comply to these guidelines will be modified by administrators if the user ignores them.

When can i get my own custom avatar?
You need a minimum of 500 posts to be able to choose your own custom avatar

Why cant i post an image and it appears in the post?
Some people dont want to see the image and to reduce the load time for a page, the linked image appears as a link instead of the image itself. If a person wants to see the image, they can easily click on the link to load it up for viewing

How do referrals work and what are they for?
Each time someone follows your unique link to the UGS forums and registers as a new member, your referral count will be incremented by one. The number of referrals you have can be viewed in your profile. Your administrator will have more information on any prizes or rewards that may be given out for referrals. Please be courteous when promoting the UGS forums by not spamming other web sites with your referral link just to gain referrals.

If someone gives a good or bad referral, how many points does it add/deduct? Can you only get points from other users.
People can give you 1 point for one thread. But multiple people can give you a point for that same thread. Its the same when you get a negative referral, its -1 point to your tally.

Whenever someone rates a post either x reputations points is subtracted or added to the reputation total. That x is called reputation altering power. So when a 2 year old member rates someone it has more influecne then a new user rating the same post.

What are the score divisions. eg how many for "making self known" and "will be famous soon", etc.
User is infamous around these parts []

User has a little shameless behaviour in the past [-10]
User is an unknown quantity at this poINT [0]
User is on a distinguished road [10]
User is making themselves known [15]

These are the categories. To get the top rep, you need 60,000 points (this may change tho). The increments get higher and higher. I've hidden the other total tally requirements because you dont need to know about em.
