new forum suggestions

does anyone have any suggestions as to what new forums they would perhaps like to see appear on the UGS in the near future?

hows about you try to set something up with rainbow music or sound control... where folk who donate to ugs get like 5% off their gear or summin ??

Why wouldnt they? If it was a deal with say just rainbow then they would get more custom from users of UGS than say sound control who's equipment would cost more. Not only that but the shop would also be helping out a local music site and it would be getting advertised on the site too.

I just don't think either of those shops would care that much at all about whether someone's a user of a local music forum, or in a crappy little garage band or not. Maybe I'm wrong though.

I approached ozzys once, but they refused. I saw a boy racer the other night in a corsa with 'sponsored by ozzys' all over it. On the radio 1 big weekend site there is an entry from ozzys saying 'always first for supporting local music and art!!!'. Aye right then.

I've been thinking hard about this and I really can't come up with a new idea. it's a good idea to introduce a new forum, but I can't think of anything worthwhile. Anything I think of would come under something already made!

I can't believe no-one else has had any suggestions though!

im thinking as hard as i can but i cant think of anything, mabye itss coz im used to it the way it is. i posted quite a bit about a year ago, didnt go on here for a while then now i post more, and in that time its been pretty much the same.
mabye the new look will spark some innovitave ideas?
or look at other forums for inspiration but that isn`t exactly unique and origional.

how about a forum just for the girls - where they can talk about girly stuff and guys can invade and it all turns smutty???

or a funny points system to spark rivalry and hatred more than rep does!

or somewhere we can go to play advanced as f00k flash games?
