Arrow Alpha, Beta and Gamma: The posting bots

Ok, there are three strange new members on the site called Alpha, Beta and Gamma... highly original names i'm sure you'll all agree and these three people post news items from some rss feeds i have subscribed to. Sometimes the news posts they add can be interesting other times it's probably a load of crap but you do have the option of hiding these posts by these members by adding their user names to your ignore lists in your user cp.

At the moment some of their posts are good but I'm still on the look out for some really good rss news feeds relevant to music and independent music particularly.

It's just another way of adding content to the website and encouraging discussion on the boards.

I should also point out that on their first day they posted a fairly large amount of posts but that won't happen again. They'll post whenever something new happens, those first posts were the last 10 news items they discovered and were all posted at the same time.

if you ignore them, then there is a discussion on one of their threads will we be able to see it?

Is it possible to do something crafty so that we can't see their posts when there are no replies but can see them after someone has replied?

I can specify a delay after which time the threads are closed but there isn't much else I can do configuration wise. The thing is though these member accounts will only post a couple of times a day so it's not a huge amount.

The reason why i use the BBC rss feeds is because they don't have ads on their site or discussion and also because their news is pretty reliable.
