Green things and bit under name

How dae you change the sentence underneath yer name? Also what are the wee green thingys and how do I check/view them etc?

Only mods can change the text under your name.

The wee green thinngs are your "rep". You can view it from the "User CP" on the left of the menu bar (just below the sponsors). I'll give you some so you see what I mean.
