UGS promotion drive

ok, here is the deal, i want to promote the site like a mutha fucka. if anyone has tshirt designs, pass em to me and i'll get em made, poster designs? pass em on and i'll get em made, anything else, pass it on and i'll get em made.

Of course help from others would be much appreciated, but i am willing to spend some cash on the site, more than before.

Basically, i want the site to get more national and internation coverage, more members, more musicians and more users than most of the other sites of a similar nature.

Since the site focuses mostly on urban and alternative music, i'm gonna focus on that for the time being, so at least we have a couple of themes to go on (metal, punk, rock, indie, rap/hip hop etc etc)

So please, post your ideas on this thread here, just so that i can see em all and get to work. i still have a few tshirt designs that i never got round to printing, and hopefully the moderators on the main site forums and a select few will get embroidered tshirts, perhaps a hoodie if the money is available.

er............the obvious one is anything to do with ne 1s sites or posters has lovery big link or fing of nudergroundscene.co.uk. maybe strike up a parternship with another community.

i did fink of a design for thisrts but its more or less as i said sumwer else, er....... use the mailing list more ask bands 2 put u in there mailing lists. but my brain is dead part from, ask us if ya need owt from my way

we should have a section where people write 'UGS' or 'undergroundscene.co.uk' somewhere on their body, take a pic and send it in for putting on their site. Of course, i'm prolly the only bloke capable of writing the last one on a single body part

1) im a crap designer
2)im bogged down by uni application and work stuff just now....

but like the band tshirts have there name on, the forum mod tshirts cud ave there own lil logo, or sumt.

coz on r forum there is about 4 of us( altough 2 ownly do n e work) and we do everything between us, so wer like management n we'd get a diff kind of tshirt with like a big fancy ass admin logo or sumt

Like i said I'd definately wear a UGS shirt. I thought the mod idea thing was pretty cool. Like a rank. Should be on the sleeve of the t-shirt.

i have around 2500 flyers sittin on my desk for the site ready to go.
i have about 20-30 a4 posters made and some banners too.
I have a 12 ft banner made up using spray paint too (i wanna get high) that i'll be putting up as a backdrop at UGS gigs.
I did get a t-shirt made before but i think i'm going to go to a professional to get em made, better quality too.

So aye, if you want posters, arrange to meet me or something at a gig in dundee or send me your address, i still have a few adds already but i never got round to mailing them out, but hopefully this time i'll get off my ass and do something wiv em.

this may seem obvious but shouldn't the bands who use this site just slap undergroundscene.co.uk on all of their merchandise? i mean you could just put it underneath the band logo on t-shirts, and certainly on the inside cover of demos or whatever...maybe that's already been happening, i don't know...

sounds good, ill do sum shit with handing out flyers at my school if you give me some. ill stick sum tape on my amp saying "UGS" for ya <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> and sum other stuff if i can think. ill definetly wear a t-shirt.

sounds very good well when my community gets its new site n all fancy ill give u a bit of a better link or sumt etc.........and get ma bands 2 sign up to your lsit. and ill add all of ma venues and gigs etc..........
