can u 2 computer genuises help me on another thing, it has completely nuttin to do with this site though. it is championhip manager 99/00. it is running really really really slowley on my comp and keeps freezing on the 25-7-99!!!!! can u help me pls!!!??

When did you last reinstall your operating system?

If you're running Win 98 and it hasn't been re installed for about 2 years your comp will begin screwing up. It take it you're trying to run a saved game, if so Win 98 has probably lost some files in a vast black hole that its created. Does your machine ever have trouble shutting down?

nope, aint installed it i dont think in ages!!! it aint a savedgame, i recently installed the game andevery time i play it regardless of leagu etc it keep scrashing at the same date, 25-7-99 and it runs really slowley!!!

Got to

Start -> settings -> control panel -> system

get all your infor there about memory (RAM) chips seep and op system. Get me all that and I'll have a look around. I suspect by the fact you've only got 5 gig that you have an old computer so it could be champ manager is running out of space to put every thing so crashes. Open up something like MS Word at the same time and see if it crashes at the same place.

dont think its anything to do with the computer itself, it may be a bug in the game. Have you got any upgrade patches for it? Thats the first thing, secondly, send the company (Eidos or something?) customer support and email for help and try looking at their web site, it'll be on the manual somewhere, do that first before changing any of your system settings, you dont want to fuck up other programs just so you can get Champ Man working.

Incidently, Champ Man works on my old computer which has a 4 gig hard drive and little space left too.

As kj said it'll just be the game coz I used to have the same problem until I got sick of playin it and snapped the disc in half.
