Darts - Lakeside World Championships
Anyone watching any of this?

I used to avoid Darts like the plague because it's just a bunch of fat boozers throwing spikes at a board.

But now that is exactly the reason why I love it!

Yeah i've been watching bits of it. What was the ggeky guy who got put out the other day called again - Moody or something?
He had a pure snaggle tooth smile on his pus the whole game and reminded me a bit of Mr Bean. He was fucking rubbish but the crowd were right behind him, and were booing the other guy, even though the other guy won easily.

Last year was brilliant. I was randomly flicking through the channels and caught the match where one big grizzly boy was 6-0 up (7 to win it was, i think) or something and the other big grizzly boy fought back because grizzly #1 totally bottled it.

I always root for the ugliest bastard with the tackiest St.George's cross shirt on. Because they're fucking hilarious.

this is only time of the year i watch/bother about darts cause i've been doing it since i was younger and watched it with my dad.

it's been quite good this year with a younger generation giving the older guys a hard time.

There is something satisfying about the sound the dart makes when it hits the board. I used to watch darts all the time but forgot all about it until the two tournaments recently. Who was that amatuer that made the final the other week? The young chap, came out of nowhere to get to the final and took some big scalps with him.
