Dundee Half-Marathon
I'm running it on Sunday, anyone else taking part?

It's the first time I've ran one, and I've been out for two weeks with bad knees, so I'm a little anxious about it, but looking forward to it at the same time.

I did the Aberdeen 10k a few weeks ago in 46mins, so using that time as a guide (and allowing for coming back from injury), I'd like to think I could do the half marathon in under 2 hours.

If anyone else is going, let me know and we could go for a well deserved pint after we cross the line!

I wouldn't mind giving it a go but I see you had to have your entry in by June 8th. Is there anything similar in the area soon?

I heard there was a triathalon in a few weeks. Not sure on the details, but ill ask my mate who was speaking about it and let you know if you like?

Man that sounds a bit scary. Don't think I could swim any sort of big distance!

Give me a shout if there's any land based events you're doing in the future and in the mean time I'll stick with doing laps round Baxter's Park.

nice wan Ross!! i did it a few years ago, im afraid to say it is a total bastard like haha. possibly more so if you are pushing yourself, i was going for that too (under 2 hours) and just made it in 1h 54m. its fucking brilliant crossing the line and getting it done and im telling ya, doing another 13 miles after that for a full marathon must be fucking horrendous!!

good luck!! and i`d recommend Riverside Drive for a pish stop. you`ll need one by then
