Myself and Rodi would have the defence sewn up if we had another two defenders. The two lads that played their were playing as well as they could I think but a bit more experience at the back is a must.

The midfield pretty much worked itself out over the course of that game and the best 4 I could see to start in midfield would be Iain andBurny centre with Pablo and Mike on the right or left wings.I would probably end up punting Rosco further forwards to use his height and help Baz out a little.

Two defenders is all we need and the rest can be worked around really!

Gain, you looked and sounded like you were injured from start to finish? You sure you would be fit to play again soon?

I was pretty much injured from my first few run ins with their attackers, lucily keepers don't have to run about too much :-)

Everything should be healed in a couple of weeks though just sprains, and bruising really.

However I wasn't going to be playing again anyway until the middle of August at the earliest as I have to get the all clear from my surgeon on whether I can play regularly or not.

If he says "aye" I then I'll spend a few weeks getting my fitness back then I'll be available for selection.

Aye, I didnt think you were moving freely at all.

Is it just me or is it stupidly difficult to lift the ball from a goal kick on that pitch? Might have just been the balls like but Ive never had so much bother with clearing the halfway line in my life!!

You can't get under the ball like on grass, makes goal kicks and free kicks extra difficult.

i did as well as i could considering most of the time it seemed like there was two guys on rodi and/or two guys on me as well! plus it wasn't always obvious which one to pick up out of the two.

i know i'll be better the more i play.

no had a chance to post thoughts till now. thought it was a well worthwhile run out, everyone did well like. playing more games will allow us to develop a bit of composure on the ball, especially going forward and getting width to the team. was good tho, and if you look at it, we were far more deadly, we only had one clear cut chance and we scored!

great fun, up for any games so long as i can make them.
