Would just like to say what an amazing gig the metal 4 muthas gig was. not just coz it was named after maidens first ever cd but because of the high quality of music being proformed there.
The night started off with state of affairs who were (as allways) a good as they have been dispite many technical difficulties. after them a band i've been wanting to see for a very long time 'Allegro' who were daefinetly good athough there wasnt much of a crowd to speak of. Thats what i hate about clubs, everyone is so restrained. Dispite Tom(the guitarist) breaking two strings they were still exceptionally good and i look forward to seeing them again. One of the best preformances however was by the Glaswegian death metal quartet PATHOGEN who were definetly the best (if only) act like this i have ever had the fortune to see. This is a band i can definetly see going somewhere even if it is just to the pub to get plastered. I would recomend this band to anyone who likes cradle of filth and any other guitar based metal bands. Vist their site at www.pathogen.cc dont ask me what the cc means. I spoke to the bassist about it and he didnt even know |

Would like to hear what anyone else that was at the cotton club gig thought about the bands preformances. If you have a view on it post it on this thread.

yeah i was there we played first, had a laugh and got good responses which was surprising.but hey i only saw allergo and pathogens performances as i had to leave but i thought allergo were bloody good as usual.i saw godplayer and 3rd finger insults sound checks and thought that 3rd finger insult were pretty damn good and i am annoyed to have missed them as they were going to cover new rose by the damned and too drunk to fuck by the kennedys.what i heard during there sound check was very cool .quite like zeke but with more speed changes.a fine sound.
godplayer sounded really good too.Even though im much of a fan ofthat style o music i thought the singers voice was incredible, and the drumming was fantastic. a fine round up of bands. |
