IVe nvr read the dice man but ive always wanted to. Im a big dave gorman fan and alot (nearly all) of his adventures are on a par with the diceman.
Im currently reading Mostly Harmless (the last book in the hitchhikers guide series) and I just finnished hat full of sky by terry pratchett. I recommend hat full of sky to anyone who has read wee free men in the same series. |

Yeah I'm looking forward to reading 'The Dice Man' but I think it'll be a little while before I get onto it. The story sounds like such an interesting concept.
Did you know that Otaker's has a whole section dedicated to Terry Pratchett? Its the same size as the Horror section. |

Douglas Coupland is great, although I've not read 'Shampoo Planet', but 'Miss Wyoming', 'Generation X' and 'Girlfriend In A Coma' are amazing. Apparently 'Microserfs' is good too. I bought a couple of books on Friday: 'The Haunter of the Dark' - H.P. Lovecraft 'Brighton Rock' - Graham Greene (which I've been wanting to read for years yay). |

Read them in order first time round. It's much better when you get all the references. |

A concise histroy of the Spanish Civil War, by Paul Preston is pretty good if i remember rightly. I read it about 6 years ago. I'll go and dig it out and re-read it. E
