I bought a book today. Well actually I bought two books. I don't read novels at all so it's a new challenge for me. Neither of them were Harry Potter books though.
And one isn't technically a novel. I bought Bill Bryson's newest one, and 'A Faint Cold Fear' by Karin Slaughter. (pretty cool name for a crime writer if you ask me) Wish me luck! |

hee hee, I went through a few days like that the other week as my computer at work was busy processing stuff that it would take days to complete, therefore giving me nothing to do as I could not access my computer at the sametime as this was running. So I was getting through a book a day, it was great! |

Just finished 'Scar Culture', it's a very good book.
Just started 'Jarhead - A soldier's story of modern war'. When I picked it up in fopp it was in the fiction section and from the back of the book it sounded like it would be a good story, but when I picked it up to read it today I noticed that it is actually non-fiction. It's Anthony Swofford's memiors of the being a Marine and serving during Operation Desert Storm. Very good so far, but it's really hard at times to remember I'm actually reading a non-fiction book because some of the things he is describing just seem so unbelievable |
