Just wondering, 'cause I've wanted to give it a read for a while. I'm currently reading stuff for my English course, mainly 'The Canterbury Tales' by Chaucer (hurrah...); haven't had time for leisurely reading recently In saying that, my course texts are pretty good, but there's only so much you can take of Chaucer in one go. |

Have you read 'The Plague' by Albert Camus? If you're enjoying Sartre, then you might want to give that a go ![]() Quote:

incorrect in what areas? I wasn't aware of this and I know Mary Guibert , Jeff's mum, had a lot of input into the book (and read and approved the book before it was published) as with many people who, either through friendship or work, knew Jeff. So I really can't see there having been too much inacuracy in the accounting of Jeff's life at least. I havn't heard any other versions of his life that have contradicted the book either. Concerning the Tim part of the biography I can not be certain, Mary Guibert again had a fair bit of input on his part due to the fact that Tim was Jeff's father and Mary and Tim were together for a few years. There were also some coments by friends and colleagues of Tim's but these were a lot thinner on the ground than what was supplied for Jeff's part of the biography. So I really don't know, I would be interested if you could tell me what areas were apparently inacurate or point me to a site or something |

ive just finished reading the alchemist by paul cohelo (spelling?) and Saint Morrissey both were ace, the morrissey book is a kinda psycho analysis of his personality and a look into all his influence, a few good interpretations of lyrics too! Last edited by daveo : 22nd October 2004 at 09:17 PM. |
