I forgot to mention that im also reading a year in the merde by Stephen Clarke and mirror mirror by gregory maguire.

I would like to recommend wicked and son of a witch by Gregory Maguire, they are fabtastic. I need to expand my reading list, so any suggestions would be greatfully recieved

It is

Didn't like River Out Of Eden much, or Unweaving the Rainbow. Currently reading Stephen Jay Gould - Mismeasure of Man and Dawkins - Ancestors Tale. Not sure whats next after that, most of my unread pile is still at parents. I've had David Miller - Tell Me Lies: Propaganda and Media Distortion in the Attack on Iraq since its launch and put it off as it would just make me depressed, so may go for that.

im halfways through reading the god delusion and it wasnt really what i expected, seems to me to be an all out attack on religion rather than being about the defence of athiesm, may change near the end but i was expecting something a little less attacking. but the word delusion in the title should have told me.

'Christmas at Fontaines' by William Kotzwinkle. Extremely fucking dubious.
