Im reading 'Sacrifice' again. its a Star Wars novel in a series called legacy of The Force, set some 40+ years after the Battle of Endor. jacen Solo (the son of Han and Leia) has fully turned to the Dark Side and become the new Dark Lord of The Sith, Darth Caedeus. In this novel he makes his 'sacrifice' by giving up (eg, killing) someone he loves.

Im not saying who in the unlikely event anyone on this forum is a big star wars geek like me and gets upset....

I just finished Timbuktu by Paul Auster. Its written from the perspective of a dog! Good book, quite different from Auster's other novels.

i finished reading 'Invisible Monsters' by Chuck Palahniuk this afternoon,tis a bit odd.

and starting 'Fear And Loathing In America:the brutal odyssey of an outlaw journalist 1968-1976' by Hunter S.Thompson. which is actually just a huge collection of his letters etc from that time.which i didn't expect

Amazed that the guy can remember things in such great detail considering the drugs he was on in the 80s, but a pretty good and amusing read so far. Not got past his early punk days yet. Last thing i read was the new Mark Haddon book, "A Spot Of Bother", which was quite enjoyable and nice if you like "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night".
