me too. I'll keep the one that has my letter printed in it though. It was in defence of Scottish bands. It was so good, the edited it and made it seem like there two different people writing in in response to the original letter.

i'm reading stuart macconie's biography of blur at the moment. and i've fallen in love with graham coxon all over again. i've just finished 'of love and other demons' by gabriel garcia marquez, and i'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Just finished The Subtle Knife and the new Hairy Potter.

Halfway through The Amber Spyglass - loving this series, deserves the hype.

I've been in Greece for the last wee while so i thought it was appropriate to read 'Persian Fire' - Tim Howard (i think, may have the poor fellows name wrong) which was a great account of Darius nd Xerxes invasion of the Ionic colonies and mainland Greece.
I highly recomend this book to anyone who enjoyed 300 but would like to learn a bit more about what actualy happened without having to read Herodatus.

I have been reading waaay to much history recently...i need a nice big fiction book to go through now...might read the entire Hary Potter series again...

"Fads and Fallacies In the Name of Science" - Martin Gardner

"The curious theories of modern pseudoscientists and the strange, amusing and alarming cults that surround them. A study in human gullibility."

A good read.

Moby Dick would be amazing if Melville hadn't included several mind-numbing chapters about the composition of rope and other tedious subjects.
