Anyone remember watching Big Train when it was on TV? It's a sketch show that was on the BBC in the late-90s.

I got it on DVD a few weeks ago. Amazing value - both seasons of it for $17.99 (I ha to use a $ sign instead of a pound sign cause my keyboard is set-up to an american standard).

yes! finally someone remembers! vastly underrated, and bloody hilarious.

i especially enjoy the runner who cant run.

The very first sketch where there are 2 guys pretending they can't speak English is great. And the staring contest championships all the way through the first season.

You should definitely get it. There's commentaries on all the episodes and loads of deleted sketches.

When I bought it the guy that was serving me in Virgin even complemented me on my good taste. We then had a nice reminisce about watching it when it was first on (until the people in the que started looking a little annoyed).

BUY IT!!!

I bought the DVD last week. Watched a couple of episodes so far, and it doesn't seem as funny as I remember it. I'm sure I'll get into it again.

I remember feeling really awkward watching the wanking in the office sketch, with my mum and sister. There was some brilliant sketches.

OH SHIT I REMEMBER THAT TOO!

That goes RIGHT up on the list of embarasing things to have seen with my family in the room along with the guy getting shagged up the arse by a footballer in a leg cast in the second series of The Book Group.
