Planet Earth was fantastic, and David Attenborough is a legend. Sunday's episode was my favourite i think. There's something terrifying about massive aquatic beasts that i love. The footage of the polar bear swimming back to land then dying in the first episode was amazing too. Heartbreaking, awe inspiring stuff.

i found 30 lions vs one(not full grown) elephant amazing.
what nature does when pushed to the brink.

its superb like, got ma Dad the boxset for his xmas, so tempted to crack it open for a cheeky watch!

you can almost see their thoughts when the camera's on them by the way the look at the elephants.

"that's a big fucker,if we all have a jump we might have a shot...then again we might get trampled to dust....we'll take a vote..all in favour,roar"*

*how comical would that sort of voice over be

i might just have to buy this dvd... i kept forgetting it was on, and only catching the second half of it, half of which was the behind the scenes stuff (which admittedly was pretty great to see too...)
