kelly jones batman run was awesome i love the way his batman was drawn! apart from that anything mike mignola is pretty damm sweeeeeet!

I like comics, but not superhero comics, cos well....I'm a girl I guess. Though I do read LOBO, but generally I stay away from DC and MARVEL.

I love DANIEL CLOWES work. (ghost world, david boring, the eightball series, like a velvet glove cast in iron, pussey, ice haven and caricatures)

And AMERICAN SPLENDOR, and one of the guys who illustrates a lot of Pekars work, Crumb, his stuffs pretty good. Fritz the cat, mr natural and he did a book with Charles Bukowski too.

Right now I'm reading a lot of 'strangers in paradise' and the 'felon' and 'slow news day' mini series.

I used to read witchblade and tomb raider, but top cow change their artists too much, and there's been a couple of times the feature artist has been absolute wank and reinvents the way the character looks.

I've just bought a collection of 'The Tick' comics offof ebay, and am going to check out some of the stuff mentioned here.

In the meantime, i did this

I managed to fix it so it came out that I was Batman. But if I answered honestly, it came out as Superman.
I also managed to do it so it said i was Green Lantern.

it's a bit of fun.

This is him! He wore a gasmask, hat and suit and used a 'gas gun' to incapacitate the baddies. He was a brilliant 1920s typical pulp character and hard as nails at the same time. Alex Ross painted that pic ^ fucking awesome, i suggest you track some down!
