Thought the ending was great too

Was good to see the programme putting a 'Human Touch' to the usual unstoppable German Machine.

I love the episode that focuses mainly on Eugene the medic, episode 6 i think? Where theyre in bastogne i think. I got the dvd set last christmas, fantastic!

On a sidenote has anyone read the original book? Its just as good.

I think my favorite episodes of band of brothers are the first few but the whole series remains strong right up until the very end.

Yeah, he's brilliant in it. You see all these reviews saying he's not a great actor in other things, but in this he is fantastic.

Band of Brothers - simple sublime on every level.

I've just spent the last couple of days watching Firefly and Serenity at the insistence of my fiancée, it was tremendous.
