Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicals

Anyone else watching this? I don't think it's too bad actually. Also the female terminator is hot and so is Sarah Connor. I was wondering how on Earth they were going to turn the franchise into a series but I guess they must have something planned.

Ive had it on in the background and caught bits of the last 2 episodes.

Looks ok, better than i expected. I thought it would be as bad as robocop the series, fucking hell.

I watched half an episode of it and muttered and grumbled all the way through. I thought it was utter shite. Just an excuse to use loads of CGI's and explode things, which I love in good stuff, but this...no.
It's just not the same, it can never be done again like the originals. Balls to it.

I've been watching it from the start, and I think it's awesome.

It does slightly mess with continuity, with all those terminators being around, but they can kind of get away with that due to the whole "the future is not set" thing.

Yeah, it's not the most intellectually stimulating thing in the world, but then if you were looking for intellectual stimulation, why would you be watching anything terminator related?

I agree with Kate that it can never be as good as the first two films, but I still think it's entertaining.

The female terminator is "Fred" from Angel, if I recall correctly.

yeah i read in an interveiw that the TV show basicly discounts Terminator 3 completely.

Id love for someone to focus purely on the actual war between humans and machines instead of just glimpses.

i think the terminator series is not bad, i had my doubts to begin with, is john cameron doing the next terminator as he made the first 2 and not the 3rd, i think they should just leave it be a new terminator movie without arnie is WRONG

I disagree, if and only if it's set after the nuclear war (which it will be). I've wanted to see a Terminator film set after the nuclear war, since I saw the first one.

Then you don't really need Arnie. He's just one terminator model of many. You don't even need human terminators if Terminator 4 is set before the time they started putting out cyborg terminators.

It would be sweet if James Cameron did a new one but dunno how likely that is. 3 was ok but nowhere near the standard of the other 2, the end was good though.
