This sentiment should be applied to all things in life not just music. People seem to be happy just to be passive consumers, Rather than take control of their own lifes. This is what I find so empowering about punk. That is why I find it important. That is why I love it so. Punk to me seems more like a counter culture than a subculture. There is a good book called "The philosophy of punk more than noise" about the real punk scene it is really inspirational, all punk rockers should read this book. Get of yer arse and do something!!!!
